Servicing My Customers
Today I am headed out to "service" my customers. In other words I will be making contact with my customers to pick up orders... Mainly, my businesses that I service. I have several schools, dentist offices, doctor's offices, grocery stores, veterinarian.... well you get the picture.
Now you know Avon has been around a long time, but for some reason, people can't find an "Avon Lady" when they need one... I know this, because, this is "WHY" I signed up 17 years ago.
The 1st 3 years, of my Avon life, it was my hobby. I'll save that story for another day...
But once I decided to have Avon work for me, I set out a route for myself, and as I worked that route, I intentionally added more and more customers along the way, I was already traveling.
I also, intentionally introduced myself to schools, and offices of all sorts, because I knew there would be very busy people, who earned a paycheck, and needed to pick up personal items for themselves.... Which is how I began to "service" them. By taking a brochure, talking to them about some things I highlighted for the campaign, new items coming out, and things I thought would benefit them.
When you have a professional who works all day, and they are running out of eyeliner, or mascara, and I can bring it to them, it makes a difference in their life.
So I try to work my business in a way, that I would like to be treated....
With the fast growing options to order online, I have several customers who like that option. They know I am still available for a conversation, and a sample. But sometimes you just don't want to wait on me. Or you are out of town and need it. I love that, and again, I feel like I am just taking the next step to continue to service my customer. Because after all her needs, are what is important.
I hope you find this info helpful, whether you are a customer, or you have your own direct sales business... It really, still is about putting your customers needs 1st. www.youravon.com/jeanblack
